Position: Intermediate Software Developer

We have an immediate opening for an Intermediate Software Developer. Our ideal candidate is a talented university graduate with a wide array of experience using today’s most popular products and processes, including J2EE, LAMP, .NET and Agile Scrum. Our new employee should enjoy working in a casual environment as part of an experienced development team. You will interact directly with our customers and lead the development of innovative solutions to our clients’ business problems.

JOB OVERVIEW
- Develop software applications to meet client requirements
- Generate timings estimates for customer projects
- Actively interface with customers and provide general consulting professional services
- Mentor peers and Junior Developers
BREAKDOWN OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- 85% Software Development and Supporting Activities
- 10% Personal Development, Training and Internal Projects
- 5% Sales Support Functions
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an outstanding university
- 4+ years experience building web based applications
- Highly skilled with Object Oriented languages including Java and C#
- Experience handling projects from inception through deployment
- Flexible self-starter who thrives on the challenges of working with new and varied technologies
- Detail oriented and produces high quality, maintainable code
- Strong communication skills and works well in a team environment
- Short travel and onsite work may be required from time to time
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
- Software design experience
- Experience leading and managing project teams, including local and remote resources
- Industry best practices and development process knowledge
